Responsibilities of the Department of Finances, Collection and Local Taxes:
Collecting property taxes and payments for water, sewage, education, sports and leisure activities, welfare and signage.
Processing of applications from residents for discounts (see table of discounts and forms to download).
Land betterment and development taxes (in coordination with the Planning and Building Department).
- To download form: Procedure for registering a contractor to perform work in Ganey Tikva Local Council.
Permits to replace holders (rental) and replace owners (purchase): contract, photocopy of ID card and attachment, water meter reading.
- To download update form: Notice of revised address for sending mail and notices. Approval of Israel Land Registry (Tabu) documents for the Land Registrar (Land Registrar property transfer)
Those applying for approval of Land Registration transfer:
- Have to bring a sales/purchase contract.
- Must pay: all taxes and duties up to the date specified in the approval.
- Must pay: the Land Registry approval fee.
The application should be sent to the Collection Department to be approved and then to the Engineering Department for approval.
- Anyone who has not yet updated the number of people in the household (which can be checked by looking at the last notice received) should do so, including a photocopy of the ID slip for every person over the age of 18, using the following form.
- To download form: Water consumer details (advise of change in number of persons per housing unit).
